Now we’ve discussed trot before, but as a recap:
Trot is a popular, more traditional genre of Korean music. It draws inspiration from Korean folk music, Japanese folk music, and later some western music (around the 30s-50s, but this is very limited influence). Because of the Japanese influence there is of course some controversy in trot’s history, but it’s popular enough today to have a survival show and un-debuted boy group.2
It’s also just a great style of music to do chores too, have it on in the background and understand where aunties from every culture are coming from with their weekend traditions.
Please remember, though, I am not a music scholar. There may be songs on this playlist that are not trot and I just think they are because the vibe, to me, is there. My b, in advance.
i have noticed that all f1 and indycar drivers are horsegirls in the sense that they are both the horse and the girl. they are kinda fucked up and need help remembering how to be what they’re supposed to be (that’s the horse part (i’m looking at you every f1 dad but anthony hamilton)) and also they just want to race and win races and be free because no understands them (that’s the girl part of it) but george russell is easily the most equine of them all, i mean look at him, that photo looks like the top half of a centaur
